Collection of essays and legal documents
A collection of a number of essays with different writers and scribes. Some parts are devoted to the explanation of different types of marriage and divorce. In between the lines, there are a number of contracts and settlements, including lease, and sale settlements, but most of them are marriage contracts and divorce settlements. Dates of these contracts are mostly in 1840s. The first date is 13 January 1845 and the last date is 31 May 1893.

Complaint by Sadiq Khan's wife, 1899
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs asks the Government of Kurdistan to summon Sadiq Khan from Kurdistan (who used to be Amir Nizam's agent in Tabriz) and demands he settle the status of his marriage. Six years ago, Sadiq Khan married a woman in Tehran and since then he has neither paid her alimony nor divorced her.

Divorce affidavit, 1851
The document reads: "It has been asked that those faithful and righteous people who are knowledgeable and benevolent testify that on September 6, 1851, I was present at Mirza ʻAbd al-Javad's house and Sara, known as Kuchak Khanum, the daughter of Mulla ʻAbd Allah Jadid al-Islam, was also present and transferred all of her mahr, which was 60 tumans and 20 misqal gold, to me and I divorced her instead and left the divorce contract by Mirza ʻAbd al-Javad." Divorce settlement and marriage contract
Divorce settlement of Sakinah Sultan, daughter of Siddiq Qanbar ‘Ali, and Karbalayi Muhammad Tupchi, son of deceased Karbalayi Isma‘il (from Kirman Shahan), over waiving her mahr and alimony, till after the waiting period. Should he wish to return within that period, then he must pay her alimony at a daily rate of half a silver qiran. Marriage contract of Raziyah Baygum and Aqa Shaykh Javad. The mahr is sixty tumans, of which thirty tumans were paid to the bride, and the rest remains the groom’s debt.

Divorce settlement between Mansurah Buluri Tafrishi and Habib Allah Vaziri, 1952
Copy of the divorce settlement between Mansurah Khanum Buluri Tafrishi (born in 1917), the daughter of Banu Akhtar and Mirza Mahdi Khan, and Habib Allah Vaziri (born in 1900), the son of Banu Khatun Jan and Muhammad; Mansurah Khanum paid three thousand rials, the price of the lamp and the mirror, to Habib Allah Khan; both agreed that the mother will keep the custody of the two children for as long as she wishes and the father accepts the expenses; the mother agreed to not ask for expenses from the father.
